Glutashield 2.45 is a 2.45% Glutaraldehyde solution that serves as an effective high level disinfectant for flexible endoscopes and other medical devices. It can be used to disinfect a wide range of instruments, made of aluminum, brass, copper, steel, plastics and elastomers.

Proper disinfection of medical instruments reduces the chances of nosocomial infections.

Handling Measures & Precautions
In case of splashing into eyes, flush them with fresh water and obtain immediate medical attention. Should not be injected. Proper cleaning of instruments before disinfection for optimal results Use in well ventilated areas, avoid direct contact Wearing rubber gloves while handling is advised

Material Compatibility
Glutashield has excellent material compatibility with glass, ceramic, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, aluminum, rubber, latex, and silicone, synthetic materials such as polycarbonate and acrylic glass.

Directions for Use:
Activation: Pour the entire activator content vial into the Glutashield 2.45 solution. To activate full 5 litres, add the entire activator package. If not, then add proportionately. Shake well. When activated, the solution changes colour to green.

Usage: Immerse the pre-cleaned medical instruments/ equipments completely in the Glutashield 2.45 solution. Wash the instruments thoroughly with sterile water before application, and store in a dry place.

Immersion time:
- Total Disinfection: 10 - 15 mins
- Total Sterilization: 10 hours
- Reuse period: Glutashield 2.45 solution can be reused for a maximum of 14 days
