Product profile: Z-Sterilant is a cold Sterilant intended for dialysis loop line disinfection and dialyzer reprocessing system. It is also used for manual dialyzer reprocessing. Z-Sterilant offers advantages compared to traditional chemicals used for reprocessing, such as it replaces formaldehyde, Hydrogen peroxide, and/or bleach when used for dialyzer reprocessing Z-Sterilant is a stabilized mixture of peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide and Acetic acid. Z-Sterilant byproducts degrade quickly and do not harm the environment. These by products are oxygen, water, and Acetic acid mixture. All byproducts are natural and safe to flush into a sanitary sewer system.

Dilution: Water used for dilution must be pre-filtered through a 1 micron or smaller filter. Water used for dilution must be at room temperature, for disinfection 2% Z-Sterilant, dilute 20ml of Z-Sterilant in 1 liter of water.
Directions for use: A hollow fiber dialyzer for sterilization with a proportioned 4% Z-Sterilant solution (40ml of Z-Sterilant in 1 liter of water) with 40 minutes of soak and recycles time. The cleaned filters have been shown to have a reuse life of 60-80% of original life of the filter. It is use to disinfect both hollow fiber as well as pleated polysulfon filters. The proportioned Z-Sterilant solution must be adequately and thoroughly rinsed out of the dialyzer prior to clinical use.
Shelf life : Z-Sterilant is stable for one year when started according to label direction. When diluting Z-Sterilant to a 4% solution, fresh Z-Sterilant should be used each time. Do not allow 4% fresh Z-Sterilant solution to sit for longer than 24 hours.
Storage : Z-Sterilant must be stored in original container and must be kept it an upright position, keep cool (30'c) dark and ventilated place. Do not tamper with vent cap.
Pre Cautions : Z-Sterilant should be handled safely by wearing gloves, goggle and mask. Avoid contact with eyes and skin, if contact occurs flush with plenty of water. Do not take internally and avoid breathing vapor. do not contaminate product with heavy metal ions and alkali.
